Dear Fellow Dreamers and Doers,
Imagine a community, a country, and a whole world where every ages of child has access to the treasure trove of wisdom found within the pages of books. Picture a future where the seeds of kindness, courage, and empathy are sown early, nurturing generations of compassionate leaders and lifelong learners. Our vision is very clear, our mission is very specific. Our intention is target-oriented. We want to spread and extend our efforts to all public places for future generations to ignite all children morality instead of animality. This is the vision that drives our “Kids Book Drive” here in Canada, run by “Kids Edu Care Inc. Canada”.
Dear Friends,
We live in Canada, in North America—our community, our children’s future home, our country. We all love and care for our community and are committed to nurturing and upholding its moral values. As a team with Kids Edu Care, we believe it is more crucial than ever to foster a love for reading and learning in our children amidst today’s distractions. That’s why we are coming together to bring the magic of books to every corner of our community.
Why is this important?
Books have the power to shape minds, inspire hearts, and transform lives. Providing children with access to quality literature helps build bridges to a brighter future. As the Holy Scriptures guide us, we know that God encourages us to read in His name, as the Creator of the universe. Through stories of resilience, kindness, and diversity, we aim to equip our youth with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of the world with compassion and understanding.
Why is everyone encouraged to engage?
Spreading books through cooperative support is a community effort that requires everyone’s participation. Learning, practicing, and sharing educational materials is a collective responsibility. As Muslims, the Holy Quran teaches us to fulfill our duties and responsibilities, following the example of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) until our last breath.
How anyone contribute in the 'KIDS BOOK DRIVE'?
There are many ways to contribute:
1. Donate Books: We are starting our initiative in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can donate children’s books, and our team will ensure they reach the right places. Whether it’s 10, 20, 50, or 100 copies, every book makes a difference. Share your favorite childhood stories or discover new ones to inspire the next generation.
- To donate 10/20/25/50/100 copies of children’s books (5 copies per book).
2. Donate Money: Monetary donations will be used to purchase books. We will bundle at least 50-100 copies to donate to local public libraries and schools, enhancing their collections. Depending on available funds, we may also build “Little Free Libraries” to place in accessible locations for children.
- To donate $50+ or BDT 5,000+ for 5-10 copies of books.
- To donate $100+ or BDT 10,000+ for 10-15 copies of books.
- To donate $200+ or BDT 20,000+ for 20-25 copies of books.
3. Build Little Free Libraries: Let’s create hubs of learning and imagination in our neighborhoods by constructing and stocking “Little Free Library Boxes” to ensure books are always within reach for children in our community.
- One (#1) Little Free Library Box (Value $400+ or BDT 40,000+).
- Two (#2) Little Free Library Boxes (Value $800+ or BDT 80,000+).
4. Spread the Word: Share our mission with friends, family, and colleagues to amplify,our impact and reach even more young minds.
- One share becomes two, two shares become four, and so on.
5. Pray to God: Support our work with prayers for the acceptance of our good deeds and for our donors who contribute to the “Kids Book Drive.”
- We pray to Allah (SWT) for the acceptance of our efforts and rewards for our generosity.
As we embark on this journey to ignite a love for reading in children across Canada, remember that even the smallest act of kindness can have a profound impact.
